A high school football coach is accused of assaulting a referee after a sophomore league game in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Associated Press, “deputies say the referee was working a sophomore league game at Liberty High School in Kissimmee (Florida) when he made a controversial call. Several parents and coaches began arguing on the field, and Davis hit the referee in the face before leaving the field.”

Leo Davis, 36, was arrested and is being held on $1,000 bond at the Osceola County Jail.

The Orlando Sentinel has published video of the incident.

The newspaper reported that Davis tried to leave the field quickly and exit the area in his car, but was quickly apprehended by deputies.
