Mizzou LB speaks out on Twitter about Maty Mauk situation
Maty Mauk was suspended by Mizzou late Monday night stemming from a video that surfaced on the internet recently.
You can read all about that saga here.
Speculation was running wild about the video, and it was no doubt creating a lot of questions for Mizzou teammates.
It appears as though Tigers LB Michael Scherer was fielding one of those questions via text message when he mistakenly posted that message to Twitter instead:

A screenshot of the Tweet was captured before it was deleted:

Since the message in his intended text message was public, Scherer decided to address the situation on Twitter.
Here’s what he had to say:

That gives us some new information on Mauk’s situation, as well as shows us why Scherer is considered one of the team’s leaders.
