CBS broadcaster Verne Lundquist recalls wild scene of 2014 Ole Miss upset of Alabama

Verne Lundquist, the 76-year-old CBS broadcasting legend who has covered the SEC since 2000, says that he will always remember Ole Miss’ upset victory over Alabama in 2014 as one of the best memories he’s ever had while on the job.
It was the first time the Rebels had beaten Alabama since 2003, but they hadn’t started 5-0 in over 50 years.
