Report: Baylor hires new head coach
The job market is shrinking for former LSU coach Les Miles and current Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the Baylor Bears were hiring Matt Rhule, who has served as Temple’s head coach since 2013, compiling an overall record of 28-23:

The school quickly confirmed the news:

Though Rhule’s Temple record looks mediocre, it’s a program on the rise. He’s led the Owls to 10 wins in each of the last two seasons and Temple defeated Navy on Saturday to win the AAC title.
Rhule will have his work cut out for him at Baylor, a school that has been mired in scandal for months now, which led to the firing of former coach Art Briles and several de-commitments from top recruits.
