Former Florida OL Mike Pouncey’s NFL career has been a mixed bag so far.

Though he’s a talented lineman when he’s healthy, he hasn’t been able to stay healthy for a full season since 2012.

After missing all but five games in 2016, Pouncey is working hard to ensure his injured hip is ready to go when the 2017 season starts.

According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are confident Pouncey will be ready to go, but it’s not a certainty yet.

If the Dolphins are going to challenge for a playoff spot again in 2017, they’ll need Pouncey and the offensive line at full strength to protect QB Ryan Tannehill, who is also coming back from an injury.
