As the 2017 college football season approaches, fans across the SEC region are getting excited to see their favorite teams in action.
On Saturday, Vanderbilt hosted its annual Fan Day event, giving Commodore fans a chance to meet the players and coaches they’ll be watching on the field this fall.
One particular Vanderbilt fan had an odd request for coach Derek Mason, asking him to autograph his baby.
As you can see in the photo, Mason honored that request, autographing the baby’s onesie:

Though the child is likely too young to remember this fun moment, the parents will have a photo and a memory to last a lifetime.
