Twitter reacts to Oklahoma win that complicates Bama’s Playoff bid

Alabama entered Saturday needing help to make the College Football Playoff, but TCU was unable to pull off the upset of Oklahoma.

The Horned Frogs fell behind 17-0 in the first quarter of the Big 12 Championship but rallied to within a touchdown at 24-17 heading into halftime. Unfortunately for the Tide, that is as close as TCU would get.

Oklahoma rode a big day from QB Baker Mayfield to a 41-17 blowout win. Mayfield threw for 243 yards and 4 TDs in the rout that should stamp a ticket for the Sooners to make the Playoff. The loss means Alabama’s remaining shot to make the Playoff is likely for Ohio State to upset Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship Saturday evening.
