The Arkansas Razorbacks recently hired coach Chad Morris away from the SMU Mustangs, and now Morris is bringing at least one former SMU commit with him.

3-star 2018 WR Mike Woods announced on Sunday morning that he would flip his commitment from SMU to Arkansas.

As you can see below, the Texas native thanked SMU and explained his choice to flip to the Hogs on Twitter on Sunday morning:

According to the 247Sports composite, Woods is the No. 99 wide receiver in the class of 2018 and the No. 79 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

Now, Arkansas has 10 commits in its 2018 class. Prior to Woods’ commitment, the Hogs had the No. 14 class in the SEC and the No. 75 class nationally, per 247Sports.

With Woods on board, and with Morris hitting the recruiting trails, those numbers could improve soon.
