The dream of a trip to the Final Four has ended for Texas A&M as the Aggies were run off the court Thursday night by Michigan to the tune of a 99-72 loss.

Big man Tyler Davis did what he could for the Aggies, leading the way with 24 points and eight rebounds but it wasn’t enough to keep Texas A&M in this one. The Aggies were outscored by a whopping 52-28 margin in the first half and never recovered to make a run in the game’s second stanza.

Michigan had five players reach double-figure points while shooting an incredible 61.9 percent from the floor. The loss in the game means Texas A&M finishes the season with a 22-13 record on the year.

With the win, the Wolverines advance to the Elite Eight to face the winner of Gonzaga-Florida State.
