For the past three years, Kingsley Keke has been one of the top defensive tackles in the entire SEC, clogging up the middle of the Aggies’ line.

Now, entering his senior year, he will likely be on the move. After DC Mike Elko took over for John Chavis on new coach Jimbo Fisher’s staff this offseason, Keke is moving to the outside.

During Texas A&M’s media day on Sunday, Elko said the move for Keke has been in the works for a while now:

Last season, Keke recorded 54 tackles (2.5 for a loss) and a sack. He also recovered two fumbles.

Elko’s defense will be a lot different than Chavis’s, so Keke could be in for an even bigger year this fall.
