When Kristian Fulton learned he was going to be reinstated on Thursday, it was a surprise to him, his teammates and the entire LSU program.

Fulton was supposed to serve the second season of a two-year ban from the NCAA for cheating on a PED drug test, and an earlier appeal had been denied.

However, Fulton was fully reinstated, effective immediately, instantly providing a boost to the Tigers’ secondary. And his teammates were certainly thrilled.

LSU sophomore cornerback Greedy Williams, a preseason All-American, shared a video on Twitter of how the team reacted when Fulton learned of the news. Watch below:

No. 25 LSU opens the season against No. 8 Miami at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on Sept. 2. It is unknown if Fulton will play in the opener, but he’ll be back on the field at some point for the Tigers this season.
