Which SEC teams have committed the most penalties through four weeks?

CFBStats.com tallies them every week.

Mississippi State has racked up an SEC-leading 9.3 penalties per game. The Bulldogs have committed 37 total penalties for 318 yards. That’s 79.5 yards per game just in penalties.

On the other hand, Georgia and Missouri have committed the fewest penalties per game. UGA has averaged over 51 yards in penalties per game, while Mizzou is averaging just over 45 yards per game.
