On week of 1st College Football Playoff Rankings, Paul Finebaum drops updated top 6

College Football Playoff Rankings are due out Tuesday night, and it’ll be interesting to see who and how the committee ranks the top teams.
Until then, however, get ready for every talking head to update their top teams after Week 9.
Paul Finebaum was the latest to update his top six teams on SportsCenter Sunday morning, which included three SEC teams.

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. LSU
4. Notre Dame
5. Michigan
6. Georgia
No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 LSU play this week, and the rankings will have a shakeup next week. Let’s don’t forget that Georgia travels to Kentucky Saturday, too, in the battle for the SEC East.
We’re going to learn a lot Tuesday night about how the Playoff committee values LSU’s impressive resume. We wouldn’t be surprised to see LSU jump Clemson for the No. 2 slot with wins over five Power 5 teams.
