Ole Miss WR AJ Brown entered Saturday’s game Texas A&M with 2,584 career receiving yards — good for third on the Rebels’ all-time receiving list.

However, by the time the third quarter was over against the Aggies, Brown had put up 70 yards, which moved him ahead of both Chris Collins (2,621 yards) and Shay Hodge (2,646 yards) for No. 1 on the list.

The Rebels honored the star receiver with a tweet, congratulating him on his record-breaking career in Oxford:

Brown still has two more games left to pad his stats and distance himself from Collins and Hodge, making his record more unreachable.

Then, when his Ole Miss career is over, he’ll likely be a first-round NFL Draft pick, where he’ll get to work setting some records in the NFL.
