Fans rip Playoff committee for ranking Georgia between Oklahoma and Ohio State

When the College Football Playoff field was announced, there was a bit of a head-scratcher from the No. 4 to No. 6 spots.

Two-loss Georgia, fresh off a narrow defeat to No. 1 Alabama on Saturday afternoon, ended up at No. 5 — just behind one-loss Big 12 champ Oklahoma and one spot ahead of one-loss Big Ten champ Ohio State.

It seemingly would have made more sense for Georgia to be ranked No. 4 or No. 6, but splitting the two Power 5 champs was a bit odd.
