In Tuesday’s Fiesta Bowl, LSU was thin on defense, especially in the secondary. The Tigers entered the game missing three defensive backs, including Kelvin Joseph, who was suspended for a violation of team rules. He did not make the trip to Arizona.
After the game, Joseph took to social media to apologize to the “Tigers family.”

At one point, LSU was missing five defensive backs due to the ejections of CB Terrence Alexander and S Grant Delpit. Despite the absences on defense, LSU defeated No. 8 UCF 40-32.
