Nick Saban took over the Alabama program back in 2007, and since then, he’s turned the Crimson Tide into an absolute powerhouse.

Since taking over, he’s won five national championships (to go with the one he won at LSU) and has sent an incredible number of players to the NFL.

In fact, during his tenure in Tuscaloosa, he’s had more first-round picks (26) than total losses (21). Considering that number is over 12 years, that’s absolutely amazing:

Saban will likely add to that total on Thursday night in Nashville, as OL Jonah Williams, DL Quinnen Williams and RB Josh Jacobs are all potential first-round picks.

Saban won’t be there to celebrate, as he’s recovering from hip surgery, but he’ll probably be watching on TV and cheering his guys on to the NFL.
