The Kentucky Wildcats won 10 games last season, their first time reaching the double-digit win plateau in over 40 years.

However, they lost a lot of talent to the NFL Draft — notably RB Benny Snell and LB Josh Allen. Now, they have to reload to avoid falling behind in the SEC East.

On Sportscenter on Tuesday, analyst Kirk Herbstreit said he loves the over on Kentucky’s 6.5 win total in Vegas:

That shows confidence in Mark Stoops and the program he’s built in Lexington, which is bringing in some great talent these days.

Will Stoops guide his team to at least seven victories this fall? We’ll see, but the schedule is somewhat favorable for the Wildcats.
