UPDATE: Tavien Feaster has since confirmed he will finish his collegiate career at South Carolina.

Former Clemson RB Tavien Feaster will have a new college football home.

The departing Tigers back will transfer to South Carolina, per a report by WACH FOX’s Mike Uva. “Tavien Feaster will enroll at USC following his graduation at Clemson. WachFox has been told that there is no date set at this time for Feaster’s first day with the Gamecocks but he’s expected to join the team following the end of Clemson’s summer schedule (Aug 5),” Uva tweeted.

Feaster was down to South Carolina or Virginia Tech, and it appears the Gamecocks have won out.

Obviously, this is major news for South Carolina and Will Muschamp. Adding a weapon on the ground will only make USC’s offense and Jake Bentley that much better. Adding Feaster could be the difference between going to a bowl and not playing in the postseason with USC’s brutal schedule.

In three career seasons at Clemson (2016-18), Feaster rushed 222 times for 1,330 yards and 15 TDs.
