After a week of free agency, former South Carolina K Elliott Fry is back with an NFL team.

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they have signed Fry one week after he was released by the Chicago Bears.

Prior to his NFL opportunities, Fry was the kicker for the Orlando Apollos, the AAF team coached by Steve Spurrier. During his brief time in the AAF, Fry converted 100 percent of his attempts, going 14 for 14 in eight games.

During his South Carolina career (2013-16), Fry converted on 75 percent of his kicks in four seasons as the Gamecocks’ kicker. In his four seasons, Fry made 66-of-88 field-goal attempts and an almost-perfect 161 of his 162 extra-point attempts.

Signing with Baltimore reunites Fry with former South Carolina teammate Hayden Hurst.
