Kirby Smart and Will Muschamp spent a few minutes together on Friday night. The former colleagues turned rivals at Georgia and South Carolina were on hand to watch the No. 2-overall prospect in the class of 2020.

Jordan Burch is a 5-star defensive lineman for the Hammond School in Columbia, South Carolina, and one of the most sought after recruits in this class. Muschamp’s son, Jackson, is the quarterback for the Hammond team. Burch has 12 offers including the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and South Carolina. He is ranked the No. 1 player in South Carolina and the No. 1 defensive end in the nation.

Burch is listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, according to his 247Sports profile.

There are five uncommitted prospects in the top 10 of the 247Sports Composite rankings, but Burch is the highest-ranked uncommitted prospect. The 247Sports Crystal Ball suggests Clemson has a 62 percent chance of landing Burch, though his recruitment has been difficult to figure so far as those close to him are reportedly tight-lipped.

One comparison for Burch is former Ohio State two-time All-American Joey Bosa.

Here are Burch highlights from Hudl:
