New Arkansas coach Sam Pittman built up a lot of contacts after serving as Georgia’s offensive line coach the past few years.

Now, he used those contacts to land a player on the other side of the ball, picking up a commitment from a 3-star defensive end to add to the Razorbacks’ 2020 class.

As you can see below, Jaqualin McGhee, a native of Fort Valley, Georgia, announced his pledge to Arkansas via Twitter on Saturday:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, McGhee is the No. 61 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2020 and the No. 122 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Hogs signed 9 players during the Early Signing Period and now have 2 hard commits, including McGhee. Prior to his commitment, the class ranked No. 79 in the nation and No. 13 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
