There may be a ton of attrition happening in Baton Rouge this offseason but nickel back Kary Vincent Jr. shall not be among those living the Tigers.

The junior defensive back announced his plans to return to the Tigers on Thursday. Vincent is joined by fellow defensive back JaCoby Stevens as a Tiger set to return for next season along with defensive lineman Tyler Shelvin.

Vincent started eight games for the Tigers last season and appeared in 14 games this season after appearing in 24 games the previous two seasons for Dave Aranda’s defense. The junior finished the season with four interceptions, which ranked second on the team, and added 44 tackles, two tackles for loss, and 13 passes defended.

Vincent also participates in LSU’s track and field team as arguably the fastest player on Ed Orgeron’s roster.
