Kim English played a big role for the Missouri Tigers from 2008 to 2012, helping the Tigers to some of their best seasons in recent memory.

After a brief NBA career, he’s now in the coaching ranks. He spent the 2015-17 seasons at Tulsa before going to Colorado’s staff from 2017-19 and then spent this past season on Rick Barnes’ Tennessee staff.

On Monday, it was reported that he’s a leading candidate to land his own head coaching job. Per Adam King, English is a frontrunner for the open SEMO job:

SEMO plays in the Ohio Valley Conference, where it finished 7-24 overall (3-15 in conference play) this past season. That was last place in the conference.

If English gets the job, could he turn the Redhawks around? We’ll have to wait and see.
