We already saw on Monday that California high schools won’t have fall sports until at least December. On Monday, the Georgia High School Association went a different way with its decision.

Per reports, the GHSA voted unanimously to keep all 10 regular season games and a full 5-week playoff slate.

However, the season will be delayed until Sept. 4 — a delay of 2 weeks. Practices, according to the reports, will still start on Aug. 1:

There’s still time for things to change, but for now, this is a positive sign for the athletes at Georgia high schools.
