Back in February, Tennessee DL Darel Middleton was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic assault and public intoxication.

The charges stemmed from and incident in which Middleton allegedly shoved his girlfriend to the ground twice, during which she scraped her knee.

On Friday, KnoxNews.com reported that the charges against Middleton had been dismissed ahead of his court date, which was scheduled for this month:

“He is an excellent student-athlete, and all charges against Mr. Middleton have been dismissed,” Gregory P. Isaacs, Middleton’s lawyer, told Knox News when contacted about the case.

Middleton recorded 28 tackles (2 for a loss) and 1 sack while forcing a fumble and blocking a kick. He appeared in all 13 games.
