Jalen Hurts’ first NFL snap naturally resulted in an impressive first down

The Philadelphia Eagles are a disappointing 0-2-1 after tying the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
That’s not the start fans envisioned, and there’s already some frustration being sent toward QB Carson Wentz.
Former Alabama and Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts is Wentz’s backup, and he saw some brief action against the Bengals. As you can see below, his first NFL snap was a perfectly executed read-option that went for a first down:

If Hurts continues to have success when he gets into games, we can expect fans to start to call for him to get more time.
