Kentucky seemed to have Murphy’s Law and then some in the first half. The Wildcats had two dropped interceptions, including one that also had a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty with it, and that came after a botched field goal snap.

Later in the first half, the Wildcats had another botched field goal attempt that went wide right after another bad snap.

That combination is not a recipe to upset the No. 1 team in the land on the road at Alabama.

Alabama held a 28-3 halftime lead in a game that was 7-3 at the beginning of the second quarter.
