Saturdays belong to college football; however, on Sunday, September 5th, there’s one game scheduled to be played, too.

With the NFL starting its schedule on Thursday, September 9th, college football found another day to schedule a primetime matchup.

The 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. ET. Notre Dame, of course, is coming off of a College Football Playoff berth and blowout loss in 2020.

Brian Kelly has a new-look Notre Dame team that is eager to get back into the Playoff hunt, while Florida State’s squad embarks on trying to have a revival and return to being a top-caliber program. Head coach Mike Norvell has recruited really well since arriving in Tallahassee, and the Seminoles are eager to put a great product onto the field. That starts tonight against the Irish.

According to DraftKings, Notre Dame (-7) is a touchdown favorite over Florida State.

Notre Dame and Florida State kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
