An SEC-centric podcast this season will have a rotating guest list of household names from around the SEC.

The “JBoy Show,” is hosted by former college football coach Jake โ€œJBoyโ€ Crain, and it was reported by Forbes that he will have Bo Nix (Auburn), Connor Bazelak (Missouri), Jordan Battle (Alabama), Jalen Wydermyer (Texas A&M), Todd Harris (LSU), Kearis Jackson (Georgia) and Jamaree Salyer (Georgia). Each player will join The JBoy Show for a 15-20 minute segment once a week to discuss last weekโ€™s game and preparations for that weekโ€™s game.

Thanks to new rules that allow student athletes to profit off their name, image and likeness, each student athlete will receive $500 per show for 15 weeks for a total of $7,500 each.

“We’re very excited to bring student-athletes from different universities around the SEC to provide prospective to fans they won’t be able to get anywhere else,โ€ said Crain. โ€œWe want to be able to provide our audience with the human element of playing in the nation’s top college football conference from the league’s top play-makers.”

Alabama’s Bryce Young and multiple Texas A&M players have signed similar media deals since the name, image and likeness era began on July 1.
