Alabama vs. Tennessee is still a huge rivalry game in the SEC, but the Crimson Tide’s dominance of the series in recent years has probably taken a bit of the shine off of the game from a national perspective.

Alabama has won 14 consecutive meetings between the 2 teams, and most expect that streak to be extended to 15 on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.

Given Alabama’ recent control of the series, it was no surprise to SEC Shorts have a little fun at the Volunteers’ expense heading the game.

The video shows a Tennessee fan telling his young daughter a bedtime story about the Evil Crimson Dragon and trying to explain its dominance over the Village of Volunteerland.

When the young girl suggests that maybe he can tell her a story tomorrow night about the Villagers rising up and defeating the Evil Crimson Dragon, her father simply says, “Don’t you hopes up.”

Enjoy!
