The Vanderbilt Commodores received a big commitment from safety Jadais Richard from West Monroe High School in Louisiana.

Richard, who was committed to TCU at one point, decided to decommit once former Horn Frogs head coach Gary Patterson left Fort Worth.

The 3-star safety also had offers from Louisville, Baylor, and Indiana. Richard announced his intentions on Instagram saying”switched up & chose the best route.”

This makes the 11th player to commit to the Commodores, and he is the No. 69 safety in this class, and the No. 36 player out of the state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite.

At West Monroe, he had 80 total tackles, 65 of those were solo with 1 interception, 2 pass breakups, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a blocked field goal, according to the Tennessean.
