Andre Curbelo has been a dynamic player for the Illinois Fighting Illini the past 2 years. But, after suffering a concussion early in the 2021-22 season, he wasn’t able to get back to his full workload until much later in the season.

Now, after a second-round loss in the NCAA Tournament by the Illini, Curbelo is exploring his transfer options.

Per Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, 1 SEC team — Texas A&M — has reached out to Curbelo through the transfer portal:

Other programs to reach out to Curbelo include Gonzaga, St. John’s, Georgia Tech, Pitt, Kansas State, Saint Mary’s and Clemson, according to Goodman.

Curbelo appeared in 19 games for the Illini this past season, making 4 starts. He averaged 7.5 points, 3.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds per contest.
