Matt Stinchcomb took some time recently to break down Florida’s schedule, and give his game-by-game predictions for the Gators in Billy Napier’s first season in charge.

The SEC Network analyst sees a rough start, including 0-2 out of the gate, and a 1-3 mark before back-to-back wins arrive.

“The first 2 rattles out of the trap, brutal,” Stinchcomb said. “This is a brutal way to kick things off. Utah at 7, that’s a legit top 10 team that you think might actually hold up for the balance of the season.”

There’s another tough stretch later in the season where Stinchcomb sees 3 straight losses to LSU, Georgia and Texas A&M. However, Napier and the Gators finish strong and win their final 3 games against South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Florida State.

Ultimately, he sees a 6-6 season as “we muscled them to bowl eligibility” as the season, which started off rough, is “not so bad.”
