Jontre Kirklin made a highlight-reel catch late Sunday night for the Arizona Cardinals on a pass from Jarrett Guarantano.

The former LSU wide receiver caught a 15-yard pass over a defender in the back corner of the end zone on the pass from the former Tennessee quarterback.

At LSU, Kirklin played 57 games with 3 starts over 5 seasons (2017-21) with the Tigers as a wide receiver, quarterback and defensive back. He finished his collegiate career with 20 receptions for 313 yards and 3 TDs and added 13 carries for 67 yards.

Kirklin at the end of his LSU career was the starting quarterback in LSU’s matchup against Kansas State in the Texas Bowl when the Tigers had a depleted roster.

Guarantano is battling with fourth-year quarterback Trace McSorley for the third-string QB role with the Cardinals behind Kyler Murray and Colt McCoy.
