Billy Napier and Co, are heading into Week 10 against Arkansas slightly blind in one respect.

Arkansas football recently made a change at OC, moving on from Dan Enos in favor of interim OC Kenny Guiton. The former Ohio State quarterback has worked with several teams, including the Razorbacks, as a receivers coach.

That presents a certain challenge for Napier. There’s no tape on a Guiton-led offense at Arkansas, and the Razorbacks still have plenty of talent littered throughout that offensive roster.

Napier was asked about the process of preparing for a new challenge like that on Wednesday during the SEC’s weekly teleconference:

“I mean I think you’re asking the question for the right reasons. Certainly we’ve got a process that we began late last week in terms of the second tier of the staff in terms of prep,” Napier said. “I think they’ve got a great group of players obviously quarterback’s a fantastic player who’s very accomplished, veteran player. Big, long up front, can play with power and they’ve got an elite group of skill players.”

He continued…

“So it is a challenge and I think the same reason you’re asking the question, I do think there are things that come with that, that are a little bit unique. We’re working hard on it and have a ton of respect for Coach (Kenny) Guiton, obviously a very accomplished player, has a good career as an assistant coach and I know he’ll be excited for the opportunity.”

Florida is 5-3 on the year and looks to put their stamp on bowl eligibility this Saturday at Noon against the Razorbacks. The game will be aired on ESPN2.
