Florida is taking on Florida State this weekend and the Gators hope to cap off their regular season with an upset victory over their in-state rivals.

Before Saturday’s game, let’s take a look at the good and bad numbers for the Gators.

The Good

27: FSU has won 27 games in a row coming into this weekend. Normally, that’s not a stat that would please any Florida fans, but one source of optimism comes from FSU’s last loss when Florida beat the Seminoles in 2012. The Gators could become the bookends of FSU’s winning streak with a win this weekend.

100: For the first time in the Will Muschamp era at Florida, two wide receivers recorded more than 100 receiving yards in a game — Quinton Dunbar and Demarcus Robinson. The Gators will need both players to be effective on Saturday in order to keep the Seminoles’ defense honest.

0: Despite not being very effective in the passing game, the Gators’ quarterbacks have been very good about not turning the ball over. In their last four games, Florida hasn’t thrown a single interception.

The Bad

1: Will Muschamp has just one win against FSU during his time at Florida and when he’s lost, it hasn’t been pretty. The Gators have lost by a combined 44 points.

39.4: Harris showed promising arm strength in his first few starts, but the accuracy hasn’t quite been there yet. His opportunities are fewer than most quarterbacks, but when he’s thrown it, he’s completing his passes at just 39.4 percent over the past couple weeks.

106: Explosive plays have been few and far between for the Gators this season against FBS opponents. Their 106 plays of 10 or more yards ranks last in the SEC. They’ll need to reverse their bad fortune in this respect against FSU this weekend in order to pull off the upset.
