March 14 is Pi Day, celebrating the one day of the year when the date lines up with the first few digits of the measure for the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. This year’s is extra special as the date actually gives us the first five digits of pi.

Josh Dobbs is smart, an aerospace engineering major who made the SEC’s honor roll, so Tennessee got him in the studio to see how many digits he can name. The unwilling host agrees to a bet: if Dobbs can’t get to 45 digits, he gets a pie to the face. If he does, the host gets the pie. Check this hilarious video as Dobbs rattles off the digits and the host gets pied.

What’s more impressive, Dobbs being able to get to 48 under pressure or evading an SEC pass rush?
