Alabama adds commitment from in-state LB in Class of 2024

Alabama football landed a commitment from 3-star linebacker Quinton Reese Saturday evening following the Tide’s win over USF, 17-3.
Reese stands at 6-feet, 205 pounds and hails from Ramsay HS in Birmingham, Alabama. He chose the Tide over offers from Central Florida, Marshall, South Alabama and Troy. Alabama offered Reese on August 1.
He made his commitment to the Tide on social media:

Reese is not a highly-rated prospect according to 247Sports. He’s rated as the No. 145 overall linebacker in the country and No. 74 player out of Alabama.
He’s also the 3rd LB to commit to Alabama in the Class of 2024 cycle, joining 4-star Cayden Jones and 3-star Justin Okoronkwo. Alabama holds 20 commits in next year’s cycle as of now.
