Nick Saban’s staff has had a highly productive week on the recruiting trail, landing multiple big-time commitments. Peach County (Georgia) offensive lineman Terrence Ferguson becomes the fourth blue-chip prospect to pledge to the Crimson Tide in as many days.

Ferguson, rated the No. 47 overall prospect in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite, announced his commitment on Sunday via his Instagram page. The 6-4, 300-pounder is a high-4-star recruit with a Composite score of 0.9759, just outside the 5-star range. (5-star WR commit Jacorey Brooks has a 0.9843 Composite score.) He is rated the No. 2 offensive guard in the class.

The Fort Valley, Georgia native narrowed his 19 scholarship offers to a final 3 of Alabama, Georgia and Florida State. He has accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-America postseason high school all-star game.

Ferguson’s commitment comes after Alabama landed 4-star linebacker Kendrick Blackshire on Thursday and the Brockermeyer twins (5-star offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer, 4-star center James Brockermeyer) on Friday. UA is now at 15 commitments in its 2021 class. The latest commitments have boosted the class to No. 2 overall nationally behind only Ohio State. In May, UA’s class was No. 47 nationally on the Composite.
