Alabama DL Da’Shawn Hand was injured during the third quarter of Saturday night’s 66-3 win over Ole Miss on a play that many thought was dirty.
However, when analyzing the play, experts have agreed that the play is legal.
In fact, even Alabama coach Nick Saban agrees that the play was legal, but added during Monday’s press conference that he would be OK with changing the rule:

Hand has an MCL sprain and has been ruled out for Alabama’s game against Texas A&M this weekend and might be out even longer.
