Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick calls LSU, not Auburn, the Crimson Tide's biggest rival
SEC Media Days are a great chance for coaches and players to say things that will be blown out of proportion and provide motivation to other teams.
On Wednesday, Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick did just that when he was asked about which team he considers the Crimson Tide’s biggest rivals.
Most Alabama fans would say Auburn, an in-state rival and annual Iron Bowl opponent, is their team’s biggest game of the year, but Fitzpatrick said he considers LSU an even bigger rival:

The Crimson Tide square off against LSU in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, Nov. 4. Three weeks later, Alabama heads to Jordan-Hare Stadium to take on Auburn on Saturday, Nov. 25.
Both of those games will be must-see television and Alabama will likely need to win both if it wants another berth in the College Football Playoff.
