It was an electric atmosphere at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night, as was to be expected.

Alabama hosted LSU in a matchup of two of the top college football teams in the nation this season, one that could likely decide which school goes on to win the SEC championship. And when “Dixieland Delight” came on early in the fourth quarter, the Crimson Tide had just trimmed a 20-point halftime deficit down to six points.

That provided an awesome scene as Alabama fans lit up the stadium and sang along:

Najee Harris’ 1-yard touchdown run cut LSU’s lead to 33-27 with 14 minutes, 33 seconds remaining. It was Harris’ second score of the second half, while the Crimson Tide’s defense held the Tigers scoreless during the third quarter.

It was shaping up to be an exciting finish in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and as seen during “Dixieland Delight,” Alabama fans were ready for it.
