The Alabama Crimson Tide have been putting together yet another outstanding recruiting class during the 2020 cycle, but on Monday afternoon, it took a hit.
That’s because in-state 2020 ATH De’Rickey Wright, a 4-star prospect from Gadsden City, Alabama, decommitted from the Crimson Tide.
As you can see below, Wright, who visited Kentucky last week, tweeted about his decision to re-open his recruitment:
Please no negativity! Thank you! pic.twitter.com/m0wKAHCYLs

Per the 247Sports rankings, Wright is the No. 26 athlete in the class of 2020 and the No. 21 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.
Alabama still had 19 players in its 2020 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 nationally (behind only Clemson) and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
