Alabama’s loaded 2020 class, ranked highest in the SEC, picked up commitment No. 19, and it’s a big one.

Theodore (Alabama) OLB Demouy Kennedy decided to go ahead and pledge to the Crimson Tide Sunday instead of waiting until after his senior season. Listed at 6-2, 204 pounds, Kennedy is rated a 4-star recruit, the No. 2 Alabama product, No. 6 outside linebacker and No. 96 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. Five recruiting experts had submitted Crystal Ball predictions that he would sign with LSU.

Kennedy announced the news on his Twitter account, with the note and graphic below:

100% committed!!! my recruitment is closed!!!! I just wanna thank everyone for their support and love and without my mom & coaches I wouldn’t be where I am now and I just wanna thank y’all for everything y’all do 💯 let’s go baby!! 🐘‼️
