The Alabama Crimson Tide were ranked No. 1 in the Week 3 AP Poll, and that means they set yet another record.

Since Nick Saban took over the program back in 2007, the Tide have been on an incredible run of dominance, and they are now the team that has been ranked No. 1 overall the most times.

With Sunday’s appearance in the No. 1 spot, the Tide have now been ranked No. 1 a whopping 106 times. Per the Associated Press, that breaks Ohio State’s record of 105 No. 1 rankings.

If Alabama takes care of business at Ole Miss next weekend, it will be No. 1 again. By the time Ohio State has a chance to be No. 1 again, the Tide may have extended their record by several weeks.

The Buckeyes are lurking, though, checking in at No. 4 in the Week 3 poll.
