The folks in Tuscaloosa are not happy that the Alabama-LSU, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to a later date.

Alabama appeared to vent some of its frustration of having no game in the promotional ad for a video game giveaway on the team’s official Twitter account.

“We know BAMA FANS are itching for competition this weekend… since our opponent couldn’t come through, glad Call Of Duty did video game Black Ops Cold War is OUT and we’ve got FREE copies!!!” the ad on Alabama football’s official account reads.

It is well established that LSU’s COVID cases are the reasons Saturday’s rivalry clash was called off with hopes of being rescheduled. The “since our opponent couldn’t come through” portion of the ad is being interpreted as a not-so-subtle jab at the Tigers.

It truly “just means more” in the SEC.
