Another Alabama shoulder issue, this time it's LB Keith Holcombe
For whatever reason, Alabama football players have had a rough time with shoulder injuries as of late. Both former defensive standouts Reuben Foster and Jonathan Allen took slides in the latest NFL draft thanks in part to shoulder issues and now current linebacker Keith Holcombe has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury.
Holcombe not only plays on Alabama’s football team, he is also a member of the school’s baseball team. Holcombe played in the Tide’s spring game, he had a fantastic showing, as he led the team in tackles during the A-Day Game. While it’s unclear when exactly this injury occurred, according to Alabama baseball coach Greg Goff, Holcombe injured his shoulder several days ago.
Goff does not expect him to return for the baseball season.
Greg Goff said #Alabama LB Keith Holcombe had labrum surgery “a week or 10 days ago.”
He won’t be back for baseball season.
