Bryce Young's incredible first half draws tons of praise on social media
Bryce Young.
Do I need to say anything else? (I do? OK, fine.)
The Alabama quarterback made his first collegiate start against No. 14 Miami on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta. Let’s just say he made the Hurricanes look like an FCS squad, not a team some thought could pull off the upset of the reigning champions.
Midway through the second quarter, Young had completed 18 of his 24 passes for 191 yards and 3 touchdowns. He hadn’t thrown an interception, either.
Two of those touchdowns were to TE Cameron Latu. Here’s the second of Latu’s touchdowns:

Could Young be the best Alabama QB of all-time? He still has a long way to go, obviously, as he’s only played one half of football this season, but Twitter is not the place for reasonable takes!
Here are some of the top reactions from social media after Young’s dominant first half:
Me 1 year ago: “Bryce Young is going to be the best Bama QB ever”
Me today: “Yeah I look like a genius”

Bryce Young and Nick Saban’s defense are slapping Miami so bad, Michael Irvin is about to call Alabama his alma mater for the rest of time. #BamaVsMiami

What’s scary about Alabama is I don’t think they have ever had a QB as insanely talented as Bryce Young under Saban. ?

At this point, Young might not see much second half action, as the Tide are blowing out the Hurricanes. We’ll see what happens after the intermission.
