Chris Steward of the Crimson Tide Sports Network joined 3 Man Front Wednesday to discuss Alabama backup quarterback Jalen Milroe’s performance in place of Bryce Young, who exited labama’s win over Arkansas with a shoulder injury.

Milroe did well in place of Young, quelling an Arkansas comeback attempt in the second half. His rushing game was especially on point, breaking off a long touchdown run to kill any hope the Razorbacks had of making things interesting against the then-ranked No. 2 team in the country.

And Stewart was impressed by the backup’s play.

“I thought he handled it great. Again, not just what he did late, not just the one run, but this is a 14-0 ballgame now when he comes in and he engineers what was a 28-0 lead late in the half before Bama relaxed on defense an, to Arkansas credit, started their comeback.”
